Famous for blood red like the water that flows from Blood Falls, you won't soon forget Blood Falls if you are one of the few to witness its natural beauty. The city is located in Antarctica and the red color that flows from it is the result of iron oxide mixed with salt water. The coolest part about this natural waterfall though is the fact that there are at least 17 different types of microbes crawling around in this water that contains almost no oxygen. Blood Falls has a height of about 400 meters.
